Use only in a well-venti-lated area.l Compressed air used for cleaning purposes shouldnever exceed 30 psi (207 kPa).Maintain a clean work area when disassembling and assembling hydraulic lift cylinder.Contamination from a dirty work area may cause damage to hydraulic components.NOTElA suitable container should be used to catch any draining hydraulic fluid. Ensure thatspills are properly cleaned.lAs components are removed, they should be set aside and arranged in disassemblyorder to aid during assembly.1.Drain all hydraulic fluid from lift cylinder.2.Place barrel assembly (4) in vise.3.Rotate head (6) counterclockwise. Remove lockwire (5), preformed packing (11), and head from barrelassembly (4). Slide head back on rod assembly (7). Discard preformed packing.4.Remove rod assembly (7) with assembled components from barrel assembly (4).5.Remove barrel assembly (4) from vise.5-20
