A-Shelter code is AS100, the supervisor code is AS101 and the clerk code is AS102. In an I-Shelter connected to data
link no. 1 as described below, position 1 at PIC 1 is code IS111 and position 2 is code IS112 The I-She]lter is code IS110.

To establish ID codes for each position, perform the procedure and connect the cables as described below for
deploying all or any part of a TIPI II complex
a.
Assign one A-Shelter identification (ID) code ASI00
b.
Inside AS100 shelter, loosen panel fasteners on Multiplex (XIO-1) and slide it out of ADP rack, then remove
access cover to power supply
WARNING
When the access cover is off, hazards exist due to the rotating fan blades
and the exposed electrical terminals. Ensure the XIO-1 power is turned off.
c.
Set Multiplexer Identification Switch (SI) to position I and replace power supply access cover. Slide XIO-1 back
in place and secure front panel fasteners.
d.
Figure 2-7 shows, the shelter power/signal entry panel located outside the shelter adjacent to the main door for
an I-Shelter, IA-Shelter, and an A-Shelter. Each pair of Data Link connectors on the A-Shelter entry panel has a
corresponding intercom connector adjacent to it. The I-Shelter and IA-Shelter have the same arrangement for data links 1
and 2. Each data link connector pair, in conjunction with its intercom connector on the A-Shelter panel, must be cabled as
