Servicing.Resume the maintenance service schedule in effect at the commencement of storage, orservice the equipment before the scheduled dates ln order to produce a staggered maintanance workload4-94. PREPARATION OF EQUIPMENT FOR SHIPMENT.a. Refer to TM 55-21, TM 55-601, and TM 743-200-1 for additional instructions on processing, storage, andshipment of materiel.b. Dolly sets that have been removed from storage for shipment do not have to be reprocessed if they willreach their destination within the adminstrative storage period. Reprocess only if inspection reveals any corrosion, orif anticipated in-transit weather conditions make it necessaryc. When a dolly set received and has already been processed for domestic shipment, as indicated onDD Form 1397, the dolly set does not have to be reprocessed for storage unless corrosion and deterioration are foundduring the inspection upon receipt. List on SF Form 364 all discrepancies found because of poor preservation,packaging, packing, marking, handling, loading, storage, or excessive preservation. Rapairs that cannot be handledby the receiving unit must have tags attached listing the needed rapairs. A report of these conditions will be submittedby the unit commander for action by an ordnance maintenance unit.4-246
