Dolly parked on level surface with hand-
Dry cleaning solvent (Item 14, Append&E)
brakes applied (para 2-2).
Six Iockwashers
Dolly caster assembly removed from vehicle
One preformed packing
(para 2-10).
Tools/Test Equipment:
l General mechanic’s tool kit
NOTE
Only the M832 (SN J089-001 thru 159 and J017-160 thru 350) has dolly caster
assemblies.

Remove four screws (11), eight washers (10), and
four Iockwashers (9) and nuts (8) from caster wheel
(7), and remsve caster wheel (7) from caster mount
(4). Discard Iockwashers.
Remove two screws (6) and Iockwashers (5) securing
bearing insert (2) to caster mount (4), and remove
bearing insert (2). Discard lockwashers.
Remove screw (13) and lanyard (14) from caster
bracket (1).
Remove grease fitting (12) from bearing insert (2).
Remove bearing insert (2) from caster bracket (1).
Remove preformed packing (3) from bearing insert
(2). Discard preformed packing.
