Each is discussed separately in the following paragraph to show physical and functional boundaries as well as integration
of the three functions. An additional function performed in the AN/TYQ-11(V)10 II Segment is that of electronic
reconnaissance sensor exploitation, or TEREC, as it is commonly called.

In the Imagery Interpretation Segment AN/TYQ-12(F)4, the management control and imagery interpretation
functions are combined and performed in the IA-Shelter.
1-11.
Management Control. The management control function is performed by the supervisor team in the A-Shelter or
in the IA-Shelter (if deployed stand-alone). The supervisor assigns work to interpreters, supervises work progress, and
edits and disseminates target reports completed by the interpreters. To assist the supervisory team in these functions, the
