GENERAL DESCRIPTION
1-1. INTRODUCTION.
1-2. The purpose of this manual is to provide installation, operation, and maintenance instructions relative only to the
Imagery Interpretation Segments with a system level approach. Further breakdown of the Segment to a Shelter level is
presented in the A-, I- and IA-Shelter manuals. The Shelters are made up of Configuration Items (CI). Information on the
CIs is contained in CI manuals which are listed in the related publications table of the Shelter manual. The sections of this
manual are as follows: section I is descriptive information, section II provides installation procedures, section III provides
operating instructions, section IV is theory of operation, section V provides maintenance information, and section VI
contains cabling diagrams and cable wire lists. Table 1-1 is a list of related publications that provide additional Information
about the Imagery Interpretation Segments or the equipment that makes up a segment.
