There are notches cut out of the tent walls at each corner to accommodate this action. Extend therain gutters and the flaps attached to them outside the tent between the tent corners.e.Go outside, lift the flaps on the corner of the roof cap out of the way and flatten the rain gutter flaps against thewalls of both tents so that the velcro strips are fastened. The rain gutter will extend ten to twelve inches out from thetent.f.Pull the flaps on the corners of the roof cap down to seal the small opening where the rain gutter extends frominside the tent.NOTEIf you want all the rain to run out the opposite end of the rain gutter, thenclose off one end, using the velcro hook and pile that is provided. Simplylift the end of the rain gutter up, flatten it out, connect the velcro hookand pile to hold it in place.2-16.PRIVACY CURTAIN ASSEMBLY. If a liner has been installed between two adjoined tents, privacy has beenattained. However, it may be desired to form a half-wall privacy curtain between the two tents so that entry/exit betweenthe tents may be attained. To form the half-wall privacy curtain, do as follows:a.Decide which half to open up between tents and disconnect the buckles and velcro on the appropriate side ofthe interconnecting sleeve.
