2-8. FRAME ASSEMBLY. Erect tent frame, as follows.
CAUTION
When handling tent frame do not twist or force the frame to telescope.
Damage to the frame can result.
a.
Upright Expansion.
(1)
Remove tent frame from its transport bag.
(2)
Position folded tent frame in center of the tent site with legs on top.
(3)
Unfold legs by rotating them to the vertical position; watch that the cables do not hang up or tangle. The
frame is now in an upright "U" position.
(4) Lay the frame over on its side.
(5) Lock the frame into this shape by sliding the locking collars over the hinges on the cross pieces of the "U"
(at each corner). There are six of these locking collars in all.
(6) Stand the frame upright on its own feet.
