TM 10-5411-203-134-26.BECKET LOOP MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS (TYPE II ONLY) (CONT)NOTEBecket loops are made of polyester cord and are used for attaching Type II of theComplexing Kit Passageway from an ISO shelter to a TEMPER.Temporary unit level becket loop replacement should be followed by permanent loopreplacement as soon as possible. Refer to Chapter 5 for permanent becket loopreplacement.Cut becket loop at grommet level.INSTALL1.Cut polyester cord to length.2.Fold polyester cord to form loop (1).3.Insert one loose end (2) of the loop through the grommet and feed towards the preceding becket loop. Hand-stitch the fabric and cord end to fix the loop in place.4.Insert remaining loose end (3) of the loop through the grommet and feed towards the following becket loop. Handstitch the fabric and cord end to fix the loop in place.5.Using thread, wrap and tie loop as close as possible (4) to its exit from grommet,NOTEFOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE: If required, install Complexing Kit Passageway.
