DO NOT tighten spanner nut.Apply silicone compound to first three threads ofhousing assembly tube (1).Install airbrake chamber (4) on plunger housing(3) until it bottoms.NOTEIf after seating spanner nut, more than top twothreads of spanner nut are visible, spider mustbe replaced.10.Tighten spanner nut (2).
