5-6. INTERCOM. Perform the segment intercom checkout as follows:
a.
Refer to intercom directory in table 3-1 of this technical order and determine pushbutton numbers for all
intercom stations in segment.
b.
Lift intercom handset and press down all pushbuttons Identified in step a.
c.
Press RING switch and notify all called stations, as they answer, that this is a test.
d.
Request each called station to respond with their station ID code.
e.
Two-way communications shall be possible between calling station and all called stations.
f.
If intercom test fails, refer to paragraph 5-10.
5-7. POWER TEST. Inside each shelter, check Power Monitor Panel for proper voltage (120 ±12 Vac) and frequency
(400 ± 12 Hz). Check all three phases. Ensure that PHASE ERROR indicator is extinguished

5-9. DATA LINKS. To isolate a shelter-to-shelter digital data link failure, refer to the Test Procedures Manual T O 10M1-
7-9-8-2 and perform the system-level FID. The system-level FID tests interaction between multiple CIs and the shelter-to-
shelter linkage to isolate to a faulty CI or cable. To isolate a communication data link failure, refer to the Test Procedures
Manual T O 10M1-7-9-8-2 and perform
