4-9. The intercom system consist of intercom sets, power supplies, and cabling. The intercom sets have 16 transmit
channels and 1 receive channel. The sets operate from regulated +12 Vdc supplied by an adjustable, regulated dc power
supply. Refer to the Intercom manual TO 31S1-4-221-1 for detailed circuit analysis of the intercom set.

POWER DISTRIBUTION.

Segment power is distributed by cables from a Distribution Box J-3336 Figure 4-2 is a segment power
distribution diagram.
4-12.
A junction box on the J-3336 distributes 115 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz to eight output connectors. From these eight
connectors, power is cabled to the air conditioner groups (ACG) and frequency converters. The frequency converter
converts the 60-Hz power to 115 V, 3-phase, 400 Hz for shelter power.
