Two persons must carry theMBU, lifting with legs, not back, to prevent injury.INSPECTInspect the electrical connector for dents, loose or missing fasteners, and other damage that may preventproper connection of a power cable. Inspect the connector power feed for loose wires and frayedinsulation.TESTDisconnect electrical connector assembly (1) and using a multimeter(2), test the leads for continuity. Ifnecessary, replace the electrical connector assembly.REPLACEReplace the connector assembly(1) by removing four retainer screws (3).Slide connector assembly(1) from bracket (4).Disconnect power feed (5) from harness.Slide new connector assembly (1) into place on bracket(4), and secure with four retainer screws.Connect power feed (5) to harness.
