(12.9 sq. cm) or 0.25 in.6.4 mm) deep and no evidence of delamination).W A R N I N GMethylethylketone is flammable and toxic and shallbe used only in a well–ventilated area away from allsparks or open flame.Gloves should be worn duringuse.a.Remove all traces of paint from damaged areawith sandpaper (Item 17, Appendix E).b.Wipe sanded surface with clean cloth(Item 5, Appendix E) dampened in solvent (Item20, Appendix E) and immediately wipe solventfrom surface with a clean, dry cloth.c. Mask sanded surface with masking tape(Item 22, Appendix E).d.Mix small quantity of adhesive (Item 1,Appendix E) in accordance with manufacturer’sinstructions.e.Using spatula or putty knife, filldamaged area with adhesive.f.Apply heat using tripod base heat lamp,Appendix B, Item 16, at 200° F (93.3°C) for 40to 60 minutes to fully cure adhesive.Alternatecures:150° F for 4 hours or 75° F for 72 hours.g.Sand surface of cured adhesive toconform to surrounding area.h.Remove masking tape and clean repaired surface.i.Refinish in accordance with paragraph 4-44.4-164
