Wedge assembly
Remove wedge assembly (2) from disas-
assembly (1)

sembled brake assembly by pulling wedge
assembly straight out of brake housing.
If brake assembly has not been disas-
sembled, proceed to steps 2 through 5.

Service brake
Remove air hoses (5 and 6) from spring
air hose (5) and
brake chamber.

Collet nut (7)
Using a drift or other blunt tool and a
hammer, loosen collet nut (7).

Brake
Spring brake
Unscrew and remove the spring brake
assembly
chamber (3) and
chamber (3) from the plunger housing (8).
