Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear goggles and gloves whenusing seam sealer and solvent. Inhalation of fumes may cause toxic sickness.b. Apply seam sealer to repaired areas as follows:NOTETent may be erected or fabric assemblies may be removed and laid flat.Do not use a foam brush. Use a bristle brush only.Sealer may be applied to outside or inside of fabric assemblies.Sealer should only be applied to new stitches and patches, or to those areas that have shownwater leakage.Two light coats of sealant are more effective than one thick coat. Do not use excessive amountsof sealer, as this does not increase effectiveness and will give the tent a poor appearance.Do not leave original sealer container open, as sealer will thicken and become unusable. Limitthe amount of time container is open.(1) Clean surface to be sealed as thoroughly as practical and dry completely before applying sealer.(2) Apply sealer to stitching or repair to be sealed, overlapping seam stitching or edges of repair by 1/2".Immediately reseal container.(3) Allow first coat to dry to the touch.(4) Apply second coat as described in step (3).4-10
