Failure to stake and tiedown tent may result in injury topersonnel and damage to equipment.lStay alert to moisture conditions andadjust all guy lines at tent slips asrequired before weight or shrinkagedamages tent or injures personnel.(4)If ground is frozen too hard to drive steel tentpins, chop small holes to set them in.Fill holeswith slush or water and allow to freeze and anchorpins .d. ExtremeHeat. Roll up the endwalls and window/roof sectionfabric to provide maximum ventilation.(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)Open weather flaps on both sides of the section to beopened.Untie and disconnect becket lacing as high as cavepurlin. Tie off becketlacing at cave.Disconnect base purlin flaps from inside tent.Open the entrance way door and tie back.Fold and roll fabric underneath itself and towardstop. Tie with tie tape.e.
