TM 10-8340-222-10d.Attaching Screens to Sidewalls (fig. 2-14).Remove footstops from sidewalls, open slide fastenersat corners, and roll up sidewalls and liner of tent and tiethem with tie tapes near eave reinforcement. Thenplace a screen between lugs at each side of tent, alininggrommets on screen with grommets on lugs. Run the13-foot rope, attached to a top corner of screen, throughalined grommets of screen and lugs at the top, securingwith a knot at the last set of alined grommets. In thesame manner, run the 8-foot rope, attached to each sideof screen, downward through alined grommets of screenand lugs, securing with a knot at the last set of alinedgrommets. Fold screens at bottom so sod cloths are onground inside tent. Fasten footstops that were removedfrom sidewalls to grommets at bottoms of screens, andattach footstops to the 16-inch pins.Figure 2-14.
