If cold food is to be prepared in advance of serving the meal, prepare the Food Container, Insulated as follows:
(1)
Remove the three inserts.
(2)
Pour 2 quarts (1.9 liters) of ice water into the container.
(3)
Close the container lid and secure all latches diagonally.
