NOTE The rivets on each end of the hinges are special high strength rivets and require the use of installation tool. Insert three rivets at threshold. (Refer to paragraph 4-33) Refer to paragraph 4-33 Position spacer (23) and install screws (22). Position latch (21) and install screws (20). Position retainer strip (19) and install rivets (18). (Refer to paragraph 4-33) Coat strike cup (17) and latch pan (15) mating surfaces and sidewall panel mounting areas with adhesive. Position strike cup (17) and install rivets (16). (Refer to paragraph 4-33) Position latch pan (15) and latch (14) and install rivets (13). (Refer to paragraph 4-33). Position brace cup (12) and install rivets (11). (Refer to paragraph 4-33) Coat strap brackets with sealant. Position strap (10) and install with washers (9), lockwashers (8), and bolts (7). Position stowage bracket (6) and install screws (5).
