If the lights are in use, limit inspection of the individual lights to a visualinspection from the ground to avoid injuries from falls.INSPECTInspect the individual lights for damage. Check condition of power cords and plugs. Check circuit breakerand reset if necessary.REPLACEReplace a light that does not function properly or that has frayed power cord(s) and plug(s). Replace lightbulbs in individual lights as necessary. Replace a defective light power receptacle or LIGHTS switch onthe power distribution box as described in Work Package 0027 00. Lethal voltage is present when the power distribution box is connected toa power source. Disconnect the power source before testing anycomponent of the power distribution box. Serious injury or death topersonnel may result from touching any component under power.TESTTest the power receptacle marked ‘Lights Only’, the circuit breakers, and the LIGHTS switch, in thatorder, on the power distribution box for continuity, using a multimeter as described in Work Package0026 00. REPAIRRepair the lights by replacing individual components described under REPLACE, above, or by replacingthe power receptacle, circuit breaker, or LIGHTS switch as described in Work Package 0026 00.
