REASSEMBLY

WIRE (1).
NOTE
This wire has red insulation.
a. Strip insulation from each end.
b. Solder to contact A of connector (2) using solder (item 18, app D).

WIRE (3).
NOTE
This wire has black insulation.
a. Strip insulation from each end.
b. Solder to contact D of connector (2) using solder (item 18, app D).
4
TWO LUG TERMINALS (5).
a. Drill out holes to 0.375-in. (0.953-cm)
diameter.
b. Install on ends of stripped wires (1 and
3).
NOTE
3
INSULATION (4).
Ensure there are no exposed
wires at rear of lug terminals.
a. Slip over wire (1) and wire (3) until it is
flush with rear end of connector (2).
c. Crimp in place using crimping tool.
b. Shrink in place using heat gun.
