SERVICE UPON RECEIPT
UNPACKING
The Unit Maintenance technician must inspect equipment before it is used. The
technician will make the following checks when equipment is unpacked:
a. Inspect equipment for damage incurred during shipment. If equipment has
been damaged in shipment, report damage on SF 364 (Report of Discrepancy).
b. Check equipment against packing list to see if shipment is complete.
c. Report all discrepancies in accordance with DA Pam 738-750.
d. Check to see whether equipment has been modified.
e. Service damaged equipment as necessary, using Unit Maintenance procedures
in WP 0013 00 to restore equipment to operable condition.
