2-6. Purpose of PMCS Table. Your Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services table lists the inspections required
to keep your equipment in good operating condition.
2-7. Explanation of Columns.
a. Item Number. The item number is to be used as a source number for the TM number column on DA Form 2404,
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, when recording PMCS results.
b. Item To Be Inspected. This column lists the components that require inspection.
c. Procedures. This column lists the faults to check for and procedures to follow.
d. Equipment Is Not Ready/Available If. This column tells you when and why your equipment cannot be used.
NOTE
Inspect tent anchoring support, and tightness of support lines daily.
