4-5. CHECKING UNPACKED EQUIPMENT
a.
Damage. Inspect the equipment for any damage incurred during shipment. If the equipment has been damaged,
report the damage on SF Form 364, Report of Discrepancy.
b.
Completeness. Check equipment against the packing slip to see if the shipment is complete. Report all
discrepancies in accordance with instructions in DA PAM 738-750. The equipment can be placed m service even though
a minor assembly or part, which does not affect proper functioning, is missing.
c.
Modifications. Check to see whether the equipment has been modified. (Equipment that has been modified will
have the Modification Work Order (MWO) number on the case near the nomenclature plate.) Check also to see whether
all currently applicable MWOs have been applied. (Current MWOs applicable to * the equipment are listed in DA PAM
750- 10.).
Section III. ORGANIZATIONAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS
AND SERVICES (PMCS)
4-6. GENERAL Table 4-1 contains a list of the preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) which must be
performed by organizational maintenance personnel.
a.
Item Number Column. Item numbers in the first column indicate the order in which things are to be done. Use the
PMCS table item number column to get the numbers for the TM Item No. column of DA Form 2404 (Equipment Inspection
and Maintenance Worksheet).
b.
Item to be Infected Column. A general description of the item to be inspected used by organizational maintenance
personnel for orientation.
c.
Procedure Column. Procedure to be performed by organizational maintenance personnel.
NOTE
Perform organizational PMCS procedures on the M2 Burner Unit, the Range Outfit and the
Accessory Outfit in accordance with TM 10-7360-204-13&P
