TM 10-5411-205-133-5.Service Upon Receipt of Materiel (cent).f .Securing Shelter on M1037 Shelter Carrier.(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11)To install shelter support provisions on truck bed refer to TM 9-2320-280.Lower truck tailgate and place in loading position.Connect sling assembly to shelter lifting brackets onshelter and lifting device.the top four corners ofRemove and retain a bolt and nut attaching each towing eye to towing bracketand remove towing eye.Position each mounting bracket in place on towing bracket and secure withcapscrew, lock washer, and flat washer, as shown in Figure 3-4. Do not tightencapscrew until shelter is installed.Position shelter over support and gradually lower shelter onto support in truck.NOTEShelter should be tightly fitted to front of support. Shims shouldonly be added to rear shelter mounts.Position shelter to support front mounting points. Secure shelter to front ofsupport with four bolts, lock washers, washers, and two reinforcements. Tightencapscrews to 60 ft-lb (81 n-m). Tighten bolts to 90 ft-lb (122 n-m).Secure rear of shelter (Figure 3-4) to support with four bolts, lock washers,washers, and two reinforcements. Do not tighten capscrews.Add shims as necessary to rear shelter mounts to ensure snug fit betweenmounting brackets and support. Tighten capscrews to 60 R-lb (81 n-m). Tight-en bolts to 90 ft-lb (122 n-m).Disconnect sling from shelter.Raise and secure tailgate.3-6.Site Requirements.
