GENERAL:  Source  Codes  are  assigned  to support.   items   to   indicate   the   manner   of accounting   support   items   for   maintenance, h repair,  or  over  aul  of  end  items.  Source codes  are  entered  in  the  first  and  second positions   of   the   Uniform   SMR   Code   format as  follows: CODE DEFINITION PA Item   procured   and   stocked   for anticipated  or  known  usage.
