REPAIR
Repair a Handle, Rafter Assembly, Upper Leg Assembly, or Purlin
WARNING
When handling tent frame, do not grasp the frame
near the frame joints. Failure to do so can result in
personnel injury to hands and fingers. Failure to
follow tie down and staking instructions may result in
possible injury to personnel and damage to
equipment.
CAUTION
Support assemblies during removal/replacement to
prevent damage. There is a spring inside the fitting
assembly. Be careful not to lose it when
disassembling the fitting.
NOTE
Remove/replace procedures for the handles are
identical, regardless of the assembly on which they
are used.
1. Turn handle (Figure 1, Item 1) to the unlocked position and keep it there.
2. Without allowing bolt (Figure 1, Item 2) to rotate, remove nut (Figure 1, Item 3).
