4-81. HYDRAULIC PUMP REPLACEMENT (M840).

Hydraulic fluid (Item 6, Appendix E)
l Common no. 1 shop set
Rags (Item 11, Appendix E)
Four Iockwasher
a.
REMOVAL
1.
Rotate release valve handle (10) clockwise to PUMP position.
2.
Disconnect two hydraulic hoses (1 and 3) from tee (2).
3.
Remove tee (2), bushing (4), and adapter (5).
4.
Remove four nuts (9), Iockwashers (8), and screws (7) from hydraulic pump (6) and remove hydralic pump from
dolly. Discard lockwashers.
5.
Remove dipstick (11) and pour hydraulic fluid out of hydraulic pump (6). Install dipstick.
