This column identifies thelowest level of maintenance that requires the listeditem.(enter as applicable)C - Operator/CrewO - Organizational MaintenanceF - Direct Support MaintenanceH - General Support Maintenancec. Column 3 - National Stock Number. This isthe National Stock Number assigned to the item;use it to request or requisition the item.d. Column 4 - Description. Indicates the Fed-eral item name and, if required, a description toidentify the item. The last line for each item indi-cates the part number followed by the Federal Supply Code for Manufacturer (FSCM) in parentheses,if applicable.e. Column 6 - Unit of Measure, (U/M). Indi-cates the measure used in performing the actualmaintenance function. This measure is expressed bya two-character alphabetical abbreviation (e.g., ea,in, pr). If the unit of measure differs from the unitof issue, requisition the lowest unit of issue thatwill satisfy your requirements.D-1
