Items that are included in kits and setsare listed below the name of the kit or set with thequantity of each item in the kit or set indicated in thequantity incorporated in unit column. When the partto be used differs between serial numbers of the samemodel, the effective serial numbers are shown as thelast line of the description. In the Special Tools List,the initial basis of issue (BOI) appears as the last linein the entry for each special tool, TMDE, and sup-port equipment. When density of equipments sup-ported exceeds density spread indicated in the basisof issue, the total authorization is increased ac-cordingly.g.UnitofMeasure(U/M). Indicates the standardfo the basic quantity of the listed item as used in per-forming the actual maintenance function. This mea-sure is expressed by a two-character alphabeticalabbreviation (e.g., ea, in, pr, etc.).
